01 — Overview
Taskloopr is a local-first Chrome extension. Recording and replay work fully offline, and everything stays in your browser's local storage by default. When you sign in, we sync only what you choose — workflows, run history, and alert preferences — to our secure backend.
02 — What we store
Workflows
Recorded steps, saved values, and your AI toggles — stored locally in your browser's extension storage. Synced to our backend only when you sign in.
Run history
What happened on each replay, including which fallback tier self-healed a step. Stored locally and synced when signed in.
Authentication tokens
Secure tokens for your account are stored locally in extension storage. Your password is never stored by the extension.
Alert preferences
Your notification settings (Chrome notifications, email, Telegram, WhatsApp) are stored locally and synced when signed in.
03 — What we don't do
No telemetry
We don't collect usage stats or crash reports. The extension only talks to our backend when you explicitly sign in and sync.
No third-party trackers
Nothing here talks to an ad network or analytics SDK. No cookies from third parties.
No data resale
Your workflows and data are yours. We never sell or share your data with third parties.
No secrets in the bundle
API keys for AI and alert providers go through our authenticated backend, not the extension code itself.
04 — When you sign in
When you sign in, we sync your workflows, run history, and alert preferences to our secure backend. This lets you access your data across devices and enables email, Telegram, and WhatsApp alerts dispatched from our servers.
We only sync what you choose: your workflows, run history, and alert settings. We never sync your AI keys or the content of pages you visit. All sensitive credentials and page content are redacted before anything reaches our servers.
05 — Your control
Uninstalling the extension removes its local storage with it. When signed in, you can also delete your account and all synced data from our backend via the dashboard.
Signed out or offline? Recording and replay work exactly the same — everything stays local. We designed for full local operation from day one.
